Summoners War Story
First of all Summoners war contains an advanced story plot featured in a single-player mode in the gameplay. However, the past features great wars over magical crystals which has an impact of mass destruction all over the world. Game players are actually one of the titular Summoners having control over a plot of land in the sky and power to summon monsters to do your chores and bidding. Hence Ellia helps you through the basics. Unfortunately, Summoner Council sent you to investigate…And thus, a new rule was put in practice i.e from hereon, proxy wars will decide everything in the Arena, and winners will be granted anything which they wish or their heart desires.
Basic Concepts And Controls
Talking about the basic concepts, every setting in the Summoners War allows multiple monsters to be in play at a time, and this is because every time monsters are made to work together. Forming a well-functioning team means careful planning of roles, setting order of turn, and then making sure your stats are up to mark for the task, keeping these things well known and properly planning helps you master the game.
You can store 50 monsters at a time, it is also to increase the team limit or the number of monsters exceeding 50 monsters. Your goal is to complete the tasks in the game by setting up different monster teams based on your own strategy. The map of the game is quite large and there are at least 7 missions to complete in each area. These missions require you to fight against different types of enemies depending on the difficulty level every time. Every mission you complete successfully will award XP points and different items. You can use XP points to level up. Sometimes, you also get a new monster as a reward but the main way to get a new monster is to summon them.
However, this is some of the common terms used throughout the gameplay
- FODDER: Monsters that get sacrificed to level up other monsters.
- DB1/GB1/NB1: Abbreviations of dungeons and you will always see them on World chat. DB is Dragon’s Lair, GB is Giant’s Keep, and NB is Necropolis.
- NAT1-5: How many stars a monster has. For example, NAT2 is a monster with 2 stars.
- REP: Monster you get to borrow every day
Summoners War Strategy
The strategy of the game depends on the choices you make during the gameplay, for example, selecting your best monsters, preferring the stronger ones before. Setting an order of turn is very important all through the gameplay as winning or losing depends on that particular choice. In short, depending on different types of players and their strategies, construct a team based on your own strategy and carefully planning your monsters and the order of their turn depending on the player’s own choice.
Best monsters in the gameplay include Shannon, Konamiya, Colleen, Tarq, Belladeon and many more as there is a huge lineup of some of the best monsters in Summoners, however, depending on their attack and defense abilities these are declared as the best throughout the game as they make your chances to win a lot easier. Thus, leveling up the monster skills are also very important throughout the game as it increases the attack as well as the defense of the monster. Hence leveling up also increases the health (HP) of the monster. However secret dungeons are also available throughout the gameplay as every time you clear a level of any hall you have a fair chance to unlock the secretive dungeon throughout the element.

Summoners War Beginners Guide
Summoners War has a very simple story. The world is invaded by elemental monsters characterized by their unique abilities. The heroes who are known as “summoners” have the ability to control these monsters. In other words, they can summon monsters and fight against other monsters. Your goal is to build the perfect squad for fighting as well as cleaning the world of monsters. Each of these monsters belongs to a different element class. Likewise, each one has a special ability and also adapts to different environments.
You can increase their level, make them stronger through runes, and even turn them into another monster by fusing two or more monsters without violating their capacity. The monster rarity levels are determined by the stars they have. A monster can have between 1 and 6 stars. The 6-star ones are the rarest and most powerful ones. Your main goal is to get as many monsters as possible and use them to create the most suitable settings for each type of mission following your own strategy. For example, monsters with “leadership” skills can increase the resistance of all team members by 30%. You can get different advantages with different combinations of monsters.
Summoners War Rune Guide
This guide features everything about runes. Players will get to know about what runes to get, how to get them, which runes to use on monsters and how to get the best runes possible through efficient rune farming. Runes are items that can power up and equip your monsters to make them stronger. In short, you can also call them power-ups as in other strategic multiplayer games. There are currently 6 rune slots available for each monster. When you equip a certain set of runes, you will get bonus stat effects. For example, if you equip 4 fatal runes, they, however, can increase the damage by 35%. At the cost of mana stones, Runes can be powered up, increasing the stats on the rune or adding a new stat to the rune. In order to increase the abilities of a monster, it depends on the rarity of the rune, with higher rarities generally offering more of an increase in monster’s abilities. Runes can be powered up a maximum of fifteen times. When powering up Runes, successful power-up depends on the rune level. Powering up a rune from +1 to +3 has a lot of chances for a succession rate which increases with each level.
Runes can drop in 5 different rarity types:
- Common – White (0)
- Contains just 1 stat
- Magic – Green (3)
- Contains 2 stats
- Rare – Blue (6)
- Contains 3 stats
- Hero – Purple (9)
- Contains 4 stats
- Legendary – Orange (12)
- Contains 5 stats
Every rune has a main stat and for the main stat, you are pretty much always looking for a % based main stat on slots 2,3,6 unless you are going for speed in slot 2. Runes can have an in-built stat located right under the main stat. This stat is random, will never power-up, and stops the rune from rolling into this stat as a sub stat.
The best runes in the game are farmed from the three dungeons
- Giants B10
- Necropolis B10
- DUNGEON’S B-10
Summoners War Progression Guide
The guide focuses on those people who are collectively new and likely suffer from a lot of difficulties due to inexperience. It will help players if they are looking to make rapid progress in a relatively short period of time, without spending a lot of cash.
The key to success in the Summoners War is knowing what goals you should be working for quick progress. In order to know your focus in the gameplay, you should be having a stronger account with stronger supplies, runes and many other abilities. However, I’m gonna provide you the eight most important goals to work on.
- Scenarios and monster levelup
- GB10(Giant’s keep, basement 10)
- Tower of ascension normal(TOAN)
- Dragon’s Lair, Basement 10(DB10)
- Tower of Ascension hard(TOAH)
- Rift of Worlds,Raid level 5(R5)
- Necropolis, Basement 10(NB10)
- END game Player vs Player(PVP)
Scenarios And Monster LevelUp
First of all clear the scenarios on Normal mode so you can unlock new content and get the rewards for clearing each zone. Make sure to pick the energy rune set from Aiden and blade set from Chiruka. The energy set will be very helpful for making your mons more enough for GB10 and the Blade set is needed for your farming mon to help in farming first stage of Faimon Hard mode. Make sure to use your friends rep mons to clear mostly boss stages which are yet more difficult than other tasks.
After clearing the scenarios and being able to clear Faimon Hard with just your farmer mon, start working on your Giant’s B10 team. Farming high-quality runes from GB10 will give you a lot of advantageous filled success in the rest of the Summoners War content (including PvP). Make sure you complete the Veromos fusion while you’re preparing your team because it will make farming GB10 much easier while also being useful in other areas of the game. Bernard acts as very good support to GB10 while Shannon is effective defensively as much as offensively. Shannon reduces incoming hazards and damages and increases outgoing damage.
After building your own GB10 team and being able to farm it above a greater success rate, you should start working on clearing TOA. ToA is basically the content to be cleared once per month and get some crazy good rewards for each milestone achieved. The top three rewards you get are a devilmon from F70, a Light & Dark scroll from F90, and Legendary scrolls from F100. The reason you want to go into ToA after GB10 is that you can use your GB10 team to clear ToA, the only extra mon you will have to build is Baretta that can be fused easily.
After farming up some high-quality runes from GB10, you should start working on building a DB10 team. It drops some of the best rune sets in Summoners War including the most powerful and important aggressive and rare rune set. Getting your hands on violent runes can really bring up the strength of your account. Violent runes are used on so many types of monsters from attackers to support mons to the best.
After farming up some good Violent runes from DB10 your first priority should be to clear the Hard mode of TOA.TOAH gives you the same rewards as TOAN except for the monsters in the Hard mode that have much more HP and do more damage than normal. You will want to be able to clear TOAH F70 as soon as possible so you get 2 devilmons per month for skilling up your 5x mons
After you’re able to clear TOAH F70, you can start to work on an R5 team.R5 drops two important items: Enchanted Gems and Grindstones, which will allow you to boost your runes. Enchanted Gems allow you to change one of the substats on a rune and Grindstones will boost up any substat. Being able to farm R5 will greatly increase the strength of the runes you already have
After you’ve farmed up Grinds and Enchants for powering up your runes, you should start to work on an NB10 team. NB10 rune sets are very good for PvP content like Arenas, Real-Time Arena, and Guild Wars. The reason you gotta do R5 first is because the rules don’t really help in R5 but the R5 grinds and enchants makes NB10 much easier.
After building a great NB10 team you can farm PvP runes and start to build your PvP mons. Ranking higher in Arena and doing better in Guild Wars will give you tons of extra Crystals each week. You shouldn’t be playing enough Arena and Guild Wars to buy your weekly Rainbowmon and Devilmon. Therefore NB10 becomes a mandatory prerequisite before PvP encounters.
Summoners War Monster Guide
Monsters are the main creatures used by players in the game to battle in the Arena, Scenarios, and Cairos Dungeon, as well as in Guild Battles and the Trial of Ascension. Each monster is divided into various grades based on the number of stars it possesses and also their star color. Sacrificing monsters will allow monsters to evolve, increasing their strength, having the same star rating. All monsters come in the five different elemental attributes of water, fire, wind, light, and dark depending on their strengths and weaknesses. Additionally, monsters come in various types based on their role in battle (attack, defense, support, HP and material) i.e some monsters are stronger while attacking also some while defense.
In order to battle, each monster keeps it in view that they possess its own set of skills which it uses to attack, as well as providing their statuses and even heal. The stats of a monster determine the strength of its attacks and skills. A monster’s stats can be enhanced by powering it up through the sacrifice of other monsters. When monsters are awakened through the use of special elemental essences, they get a boost to basic attributes and sometimes access to new abilities.
Thus, keeping it in view monsters are classified on the basis of their types
Their relationships with one another can be illustrated in the following way such as water is strong against fire, fire is strong against wind, the wind is stronger against water and with light and dark, they are both stronger against each other. Each monster possesses the ability to level up by gaining experience, and in doing so getting an increase in stats. As monsters level up, the amount of experience needed to gain in level increases. The maximum level of each monster will depend on its star rating.
Summoners War Leveling Guide
In Summoners War, the leveling process is called farming because a limited amount of activities provide you with XP points and you need to repeat them continuously. In other words, you have to do the same tasks again and again until you set up your team of 5-star monsters. While playing the main story tasks of the game, you can repeat every task you complete without any restrictions. You will still earn XP points for each task you repeat.
In Arena Fights, Arena missions are a faster way to earn XP points than story missions. In these missions, you fight against the monsters of other players with each fight lasting only a few minutes. In other words, it is much shorter than completing a story mission. If you win the battle, you earn both XP points and medals.
Once you reach level 20, the XP points from story and arena missions won’t be enough, after this stage, you gain XP points more efficiently by starting secret dungeon and labyrinth runs. The fastest way to raise the level of a monster is by sacrificing other monsters that aren’t needed. With this method, you earn 5 to10 levels at once. Do not confuse powering up with evolving. Evolving allows the number of stars to be increased, not the level of monsters.
Your activities, especially story missions, will help you win a lot of runes as a reward helping you power up your monsters in a very convenient way. Each monster has 6 rune slots and ideally, you must fill all of them. You can also think about runes as powerups for your monster as they are those items that provide special abilities in addition to the original abilities. You can think of runes as “enhancement stones”: Each one raises a different stat of monsters. To give a rune to a monster, you must “engrave” it.
Summoners War Homunculus Guide
The Homunculus monster is said to be a powerful monster like no other. To obtain a Homunculus, you need to farm elemental crystals from the 5 new rift bosses. Unlike the original rift raids 1-5, these new dragons are single-player bosses, one for each elemental type, and also affected by elemental advantages and disadvantages. However each time it requires a different strategy to beat hence,
Fire Rift: Requires area of effect (aoe) damage to wipe out spawned adds. Adds are non-targetable and, if left alive, will do massive damage to your group.
Water Rift: Boss freezes 75% of HP, neutralizes passives and slows down speed.
Wind Rift: Boss electrifies the group. Group will take great damage when electrified. The electric status will be removed when a monster is healed to 100% hp or your group damages the boss into the groggy state.
Light Rift: Boss creates a shield that greatly mitigates the damage from each hit.
Dark Rift: Boss immobilizes a monster on the front line with 30+ counters. Counters can be removed quickly with multi-hitting monsters or pushing the boss into the groggy state. Higher scores grant bigger quantities of crystals as a reward. You will get at the very minimum several crystals of the elemental type you are fighting and in smaller quantities magic crystals and pure magic crystals. It will be very inefficient to farm a Homunculus if you are not able to score at least B or higher in the rift dungeons.
It doesn’t matter how much your Homunculus is skilled, it can’t be the best in his class. However, the fire Homunculus will never be as good as Zaiross and the Water Homunculus will never be as good as Verad. The Wind Homunculus is an exception because it’s definitely is better than Amir. Even without being the best monster in its class, the Homunculus is very powerful and can fulfill an important role for summoners missing Zaiross or Verad.
Summoners War Toa Guide
After building your own GB10 team and being able to farm it above a greater success rate, you should start working on clearing TOA. ToA is basically the content to be cleared once per month and get some crazy good rewards for each milestone achieved. The main strategy for ToA is to pair Crowd Control (CC) with Damage Over Time (DoTs) to stop your team from dying while slowly killing the enemies. Their high HP makes DoTs very effective because they do -5% of enemy max HP every turn they take. Crowd Control is also a must because if more than a few enemies get a turn at once they’ll for sure kill one of your monsters.
The monsters which you’ll use in your TOA team are always from your previous GB10 team so kindly be careful while selecting your monsters during the initial stages.
Once you’re able to clear GB7 your team should be strong enough to at least get your energy back and some free crystals at stage 5 and 10. Both difficulties of Trial of Ascension reset once per month, make sure you clear all the stages you’re able to before each reset day. While clearing ToA you get small rewards for each stage you clear and big rewards every 10 stages. The higher floors you clear the better the 10th stage reward will be. Here is a breakdown of what you get for each stage. Their high HP makes DoTs very effective because they do -5% of enemy max HP every turn they take. Crowd Control is also a must because if more than a few enemies get a turn at once they’ll for sure kill one of your monsters.
Summoners War World Boss Guide
World Boss is a server-wide boss that is unlocked after completing a Rift once. Clearing the World Boss for the first time unlocks the Rift of Worlds. The World Boss respawns 6 hours after it has been defeated. Players can only participate three times per day even if the world boss respawns on the same day. 10-20 monsters can be selected to attack the world boss on each attempt. Once a monster has been used in a World Boss Battle, it cannot be used in another World Boss Battle until the day resets. The World Boss is a community-wide event, where every player’s attack deals accumulated damage to the world boss. The World boss is defeated once the boss’s HP is reduced to zero.
The actual battle is an auto-battle where a cinematic clip is shown with the selected monsters attacking the boss. Players do not have any control over their monsters’ actions. World boss battles do not give any Experience. When a World Boss dies, the total damage that each player has done will be tallied and graded. Players will be rewarded with Crystals according to this grade.
Summoners War Raid Guide
The Raid battle will have a formation in such a way that it will allow tactical positioning among the frontline and the backline. The group of three players may be set up privately, team leader invites teammates such as guild members, friends or players through chat channels or publicly, allowing anyone to join a party.
Summoners War Farming Guide
“Farming” is repeatedly finishing a certain stage/map/dungeon that you want resources from. Common resources to farm for include: experience points (exp for short), mana (the blue crystals), monsters (in secret dungeons and specific maps), and runes (to power up your monsters). This guide is specifically looking at how to farm for exp. This is best done by using 1 strong monster that can defeat the stage by itself (known as “soloing”) and bringing along 3 other monsters that you want to level up (often called “fodders”). The location for farming that is best for you is quite honestly dependent on what monsters you have or have access to.
The amount of monsters in this game that have the potential for soloing is truly massive. As you read through some of the common monsters used to solo the most popular stages.
Summoners War R5 Guide
After you’re able to clear TOAH F70, you can start to work on an R5 team.R5 drops two important items: Enchanted Gems and Grindstones, which will allow you to boost your runes. Enchanted Gems allow you to change one of the substations on a rune and Grindstones will boost up any substrate. Being able to farm R5 will greatly increase the strength of the runes you already have.
Rift Raid Level 5 (R5) is unique content in Summoners War where you team up with 2 other players to fight the Raid Boss together. However, there are some important skills while playing R5
- Leader Skills
- Attack Break
- Heal Block
- Attack Speed Slow
- ATB Reduction
- Defense Break
- Damage Reduction Passive
- Glancing Hit
- Other Non-Important Skills and Debuffs: Attack Power Buff, ATB Boost, Branding
Therefore some terms should be known with which newer players seem to be unfamiliar with
ATB – Attack Bar (attack gauge)
Debuff – Harmful Effect
Cleanse – Remove Harmful Effects
Proc – Activation of Skill or Rune effect
Nat 5 – Natural 5-Star monster
Summoners War Fusion Guide
Fusion Hexagram is a special type of Summoning Circle which allows players to summon 4-star and 5-star monsters by fusing or sacrificing monsters of lower grades. Fusing a 4-star monster requires sacrificing three natural 3-star monsters and one natural 2-star monster which all have been evolved into 4-stars, awakened and leveled to the maximum level (30). Fusing a 5-star monster requires sacrificing three natural 4-star monsters and one natural 3-star monster which all need to be evolved to 5-star, awakened and leveled to the maximum level (35). The three natural 4-star monsters are all available from the Hexagram itself.
Summoners War Evolution Guide
Evolution involves a cost. Players are required to pay mana and also to sacrifice a number of monsters equivalent to the grade of the monster to be evolved. For example, to evolve a 3-Star monster to a 4-Star monster, a cost of 9,600 mana and three 3-Star monsters are required. A 4-Star monster would need four 4-Star monsters and 22,400 mana to evolve to 5-Star. To evolve a monster, the monster you are trying to evolve must be at maximum level. In the power-up building, the evolve button is next to the power-up button.
Summoners War Guild Guide
The Guild Battle is a weekly PvP contest where guilds of similar rankings are matched against each other in a series of one-on-one monster battles, similar to Arena battles. Players earn Guild Points by defeating other guild members when on offense, as well as when successfully defending against attacks. As well, players earn Guild Points are earned when their guild has won a battle while on offense, as well as successfully defending against a rival guild. Guild Points can be used to purchase various items and buildings in the Guild Shop. Attacking guilds have a time limit and must defeat the defending guild in that time, otherwise, the defending guild wins the battles.
